For those taking the train …
This is the sensible option. Let the train take the strain both there and back. Here's the timetable. Best try and aim for the 11:50 arrival into Upper Hutt to keep to time.

We'll start here, aiming for a midday start. Since most of you will be taking the train, you can find the Wellington timetable here.
Suggest we have lunch here - they have some pretty good food, including some sizeable burgers. Feel free to enjoy all three courses here, or save some for later - your call. -

Te Aro Brewing Co.Double back towards Te Aro. In addition to some fine ales, they also pour a nice pint of Guinness (and they have a woodburner!)

Panhead Custom Ales
A short walk to Panhead to sample some of their offerings. The food is pretty good here, so maybe take in a platter (or two).

Kuku Restaurant
Some fresh air and a 3 minute walk to our last venue just in time for dinner - I can recommend the ribs.
